I am Tiago Masseti, a musician born in the South of Brazil and based in Brooklyn, New York. I am a self-made Progressive Metal singer/guitarist/songwriter who fronted the band Daydream XI for most of my life. I now move onto this new band, Masseti, with a first album release set for 2025.

My old band brought me to America at the young age of 24, when we were picked by Mike Portnoy to perform in his festival, Progressive Nation at Sea. That led to a record deal, a performance at ProgPower USA, and the beginning of a new life outside my country. When COVID hit, I was stuck in New York City with few friends, very little money, and many musical ideas. During the pandemic I wrote and pre produced four albums and spent many a month questioning if I should move on from the old band’s name.
